The Story
Lucy's best bites is a small family run business in the heart of gorseinon.
I opened Lucy's best bites in may 2023 hoping to bring a new spark to gorseinon in offering wholesome cooked foods with a modern healthy twist.
I have always had a passion for food and enjoyed showing my love for cooking by cooking healthy homemade cooked food. I was brought up cooking in small kitchen with my nan ready to feed the 10,000. I always remember the smell of butterfly cakes and homemade apple pie on a Sunday morning being offered a cup of tea and bacon sandwich and by the time the breakfast came it would be a full blown cooked breakfast with all the trimmings.
My Nan
My nan always showed her love for her family by cooking up a storm and I would honestly say I am the same way. My nan was always my biggest cheerleader and I know she would be so proud of what I have achieved, looking down on me with a big smile on her face.
There is always a little part of her in our cafe from serving tea in a teapot on a tea tray always making sure that no one leaves our cafe feeling hungry and to make people feel like they are having a home from home cooked meal just like my nanny anne would make.
